Wrinkles Reduction Botox® and Botox® Cosmetic
FAQs
Desired Results It is most effective to weaken the muscles and improve frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. For certain patients, BOTOX® Cosmetic may at times be used around the mouth or on the neck. It is also used to decrease excessive sweating on palms and underarms, and for migraine or muscle-related headache.
Avoid The effects of BOTOX® may be increased with the use of certain antibiotics (such as aminoglycoside antibiotics) or other drugs that interfere with neuromuscular transmission. Be sure to disclose any and all pre-existing medical conditions and all medications you may be currently taking before undergoing any treatment.
Candidate Pregnant women should not get Botox®. Patients with neurological disorders such as ALS, Myasthenia Gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.
Risks/Caution BOTOX® may cause temporary headaches, hematoma ectropion, bruising, and temporary eyelid ptosis.
Recovery After treatment, you will usually see the effects of BOTOX® within a few hours to three days. Ask your physician for specific instructions. Do not lie down or bend over for 4 hours post-injection.
Price Range See below.

Typical BOTOX® treatments:

DermaTouch RN uses UPP (Unit Pricing Policy) to determine the cost of a BOTOX® procedure. This pricing method allows patients to pay for only what they need to treat an area, rather than charging a flat rate for an area. With this method our patients know exactly how many units of BOTOX® they will be purchasing for their given treatment. DermaTouch RN is a Platnum Plus Account with Allergan and a Brilliant Distinctions account with Allergan.
