Lunchtime and Weekend Laser Peels

We're pleased to offer Lunchtime and Weekend Laser Peels using the Laserscope's Venus™ Laser to improve damaged skin, eliminate age spots and reduce fine wrinkles and superficial scarring. The Weekend Laser Peel will give you more dramatic results but you will need to plan for 2-3 days of "down time."

Safe and effective treatments

DermaTouch RN uses the most advanced laser technology for superficial skin resurfacing. The benefit of this procedure is that it can be performed with minimal down time.

How does it work?

Erbium:YAG Laser light is highly absorbed by water in the superficial layer of the skin. This results in ablation or reduction of the superficial skin. Your DermaTouch RN's medical professional will analyze your skin condition and help you select the most effective treatment for you.

When will you see results?

Effects are cumulative. After the first treatment you will see improvements in pigment and skin texture within a few days. Other improvements will be more subtle and may take one to three months. Friends may suggest that you look more rested. With each subsequent treatment, subtle changes will accumulate until you have achieved the improvement you desire.

How often can you have it done?

A series of three to five treatments, spaced two to six weeks apart, is our standard recommendation. Occasionally, more treatments may be needed for certain individuals or conditions. Periodic occasional maintenance treatments may be prescribed for optimal, lasting results.

What can you expect immediately post-treatment?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness and swelling. The redness and swelling usually dissipates within one to three days. Then peeling may occur for one to three days. Makeup may be applied to the treated area with physician approval. It is extremely important to apply a moisturizer and SPF45 sun block and avoid sun exposure on a daily basis to reduce any potential side effects.

How long does it take?

This treatment takes approximately 15-30 minutes. If prescribed, topical anesthetics should be applied 30-90 minutes before the treatment time.

How much does it cost?

Requires a consultation to determine the most effective treatment and cost of services.
