Juvederm and other dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid are reversible
Some dermal fillers, like Houston Juvederm and Restylane, are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin. These types of fillers can be reversed once injected with a substance referred to as hyaluronidase.
Other fillers, like Sculptra Aesthetic and Radiesse, are not reversible; once injected, if you don’t like the results, you have to wait for them to wear off.
Give dermal filler time to settle before making a final decision
It can take up to two weeks for dermal filler to settle in after being injected. If you don’t initially love the results, you might want to give your dermal filler some time to settle before deciding to reverse the effects at your Houston MedSpa. Hyaluronidase is effective, though some bumps can remain and the injection can be uncomfortable for some.
