What is PRP Therapy?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy is a cosmetic treatment that helps your skin heal naturally with growth factors found in your blood. PRP can be administered via injections or as part of a microneedling procedure. Some of the ways that we use PRP therapy are:

  • PRP facial to enhance cell turnover and new cell development.
  • Microneedling with PRP to reduce wrinkles, lighten age spots, and other benefits.
  • PRP for hair loss to slow thinning and restore areas of balding where viable, thin hairs exist.

How Much Does PRP Therapy Cost?

The average cost of our PRP treatment is $500 with microneedling. A consultation is required to learn about pricing for our other PRP therapy treatments. After we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan during the consultation, we can provide more details about the cost. We offer free consultations for all non-surgical body contouring procedures. All other consultations cost $50, which we apply towards the cost of your PRP therapy.

To provide excellence in care for men and women who want natural, minimally invasive treatments, we strive to keep our prices affordable. We also offer several financing options for which you may qualify, including CareCredit®, GreenSky®, and United Medical Credit®. You can apply online before your consultation and receive a decision within minutes.

Am I a Candidate for PRP Therapy?

One of the reasons that our PRP injection option is growing in popularity among men and women is that the PRP is derived from your own blood. This makes it a safe option for every patient. If you are interested in treating a specific aesthetic concern with PRP, schedule a consultation with us to learn more.

How is a PRP Treatment Performed?

PRP treatment is a two-step process. First, blood is taken from one of your veins, much like what happens when you have bloodwork done for your doctor. The blood is then placed in a machine that spins it to separate the components. The top layer is the PRP. We draw this into a syringe and apply it to the treatment area.

What is Recovery Like After PRP Therapy?

PRP therapy does not require any downtime. While you may experience tenderness, redness or swelling at your injection sites after your treatment, this generally resolves on its own in a few days. All of our patients go back to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately after treatment.

How Long Will PRP Therapy Results Last?

The results of your PRP injections are based upon the primary treatment that you have with the PRP.
