VISIA Skin Analysis is an advanced facial imaging technology that uses cross-polarized and UV lighting to measure the skin’s surface and visualize various conditions, including spider veins, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and uneven texture. Close-up images of the skin’s surface can more specifically determine the quality of the skin and which treatment options might be most beneficial for each patient. The imaging software also provides aging simulations and a percentile about each patient’s skin compared to others of the same age and skin type.
How is VISIA Skin Analysis Performed?
VISIA Skin Analysis is comfortable and easy to use. Patients will rest their chin inside the rotating module as it takes images of the left, right, and frontal views of the face. Image processing only takes a few minutes and once they have been created, your provider will carefully analyze the results and discuss treatment options.
