DermaTouch RN offers minimally invasive treatments for men and women in Houston, Spring and Cypress, as well as the surrounding areas of Texas. We are the largest aesthetic practice in the Houston area, and all our medical spa treatments are performed by a team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and aestheticians who receive continuing education to remain abreast of emerging treatments that benefit our patients. Our laser resurfacing treatments remove fine lines, age spots and other cosmetic issues that give your skin an aged appearance.
What is Laser Resurfacing?
Laser resurfacing is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that removes flaws from the surface of the skin. This cannot be achieved with plastic surgery, and surgeons often recommend laser resurfacing after facelifts to refine the results. Laser skin resurfacing for acne scars is also possible to camouflage the damage caused by chronic acne.
How Much Does Laser Resurfacing Cost?
The average cost of laser resurfacing is $600 to $4,000. After we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan during the consultation, we can provide more details about the cost. We offer free consultations for all non-surgical body contouring procedures. All other consultations cost $50, which we apply towards the cost of your laser resurfacing treatment.
To provide excellence in care for men and women who want natural, minimally invasive treatments, we strive to keep our prices affordable. We also offer several financing [LINK] options for which you may qualify, including CareCredit®, GreenSky®, and United Medical Credit®. You can apply online before your consultation and receive a decision within minutes.
What Are the Differences Between Laser Skin Resurfacing vs. Chemical Peel?
Laser skin resurfacing and chemical peels remove damaged skin to rejuvenate the patient’s appearance. Laser skin resurfacing can be used over the entire face or on specific areas, whereas chemical peels are only used over the entire face.
How is Laser Resurfacing Performed?
We offer laser skin resurfacing with the HALO®, Sciton ProFractional® and Contour TRL® systems. Each system provides specific benefits to our patients. The laser energy is applied to your skin in short bursts. We apply the energy in small amounts over the entire treatment area. You may feel a slight sting on your skin each time the laser is applied.
What is Recovery Like After Laser Resurfacing?
The results that you see in our laser skin resurfacing before and after [LINK] pictures is after the skin is fully healed. This can take up to 10 days. You may have tenderness and swelling during this time. Larger treatment areas require more healing that can take up to three weeks. The skin will be very red and flaking.
How Long Will Laser Resurfacing Results Last?
The skin continues the natural aging process after resurfacing. How long the results last is specific to each patient. We recommend follow-up appointments so we can evaluate your aging process and determine when additional laser resurfacing is needed or if you need other anti-aging treatments.
