At DermaTouch RN of Houston, we treat a variety of skin conditions and cosmetic needs, from acne treatments and fine lines and wrinkles to laser hair removal and rosacea. Our list of services also includes removing or reducing the appearance of varicose and spider veins.

We use the Sciton BBL 1064nm laser to help reduce the appearance of spider and varicose veins.

With our top-of-the-line technology, we can help reduce the appearance of vascular lesions on the legs, face, and body. We use the Sciton BBL (Broad Band Light) 1064nm laser—the 1064nm allows us to treat deeper vessels on the legs and face.  The laser works by creating light energy with an innovative flash lamp technology that is passed through smart filters to treat several types of skin conditions, including spider and varicose veins.

Is the treatment comfortable?

Using precise, thermoelectric skin cooling in conjunction with the light therapy, it allows for the treatment to be a quick, relatively comfortable outpatient treatment. Some might experience a warming or tingling sensation and redness or slight darkening during and after treatment that subsides shortly after.

How many treatments will I need?

With one treatment, the appearance of veins is typically reduced. Depending on the severity of the veins being treated, more than one treatment might be recommended. Results vary based on patient biology, the severity of veins, and the number of treatments received.
