Dermal fillers for the face have become the second most popular minimally invasive treatment behind Botox. At the same time, lip augmentation is climbing up on the list of popular uses of dermal fillers for the face.

If you’re in the market for fuller lips in 2019, then you probably have some questions … like, “What happens if I don’t like the results of my lip filler?”

Juvederm® in Houston, TX

What if I don’t like the results of my lip filler?

If you used a dermal filler made of Hyaluronic acid, like Houston Juvederm and Restylane, if you don’t like the results, you can either wait for the effects to disappear over time. Or, you can have the effects reversed with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down Hyaluronic acid rapidly. However, if you choose a filler that is made of other substances, such as Sculptra Aesthetic, Radiesse, or Belotero, you will have to wait until the effects wear off over time..

Choose an injector backed by education and years of experience

To help ensure you’re happy with your lip filler results, select an injector that has a proven track record for success. Ask to see before and after lip filler photos so you can see firsthand the types of results they achieve for their patients.  At DermaTouch RN, they have an Allergan certified trainer on site (Allergan is the maker of Juvederm and Botox), so you can trust you’re in good hands with your lip filler injections.
