Here are some must-have wellness, cosmetic, and beauty apps to be using in 2023.

It’s no secret that as technology has advanced, more and more people around the world have access to new and exciting technologies. Just 56% of Americans owned a smartphone in 2013, which climbed 21% to 77% in 2017. Now, 85% of Americans own a smartphone and just over 83% of the world’s population owns one. So many individuals owning smartphones means that those same individuals have access to a myriad of apps at their fingertips.

There are apps for virtually anything these days. If you’re seeking a local fitness or yoga class, there’s an app for that. If you need to research how to save your favorite plant, there’s an app for that. And, if you’re looking to book or research aesthtic and beauty plus health and wellness treatments, there are plenty of apps for that, too.

Below are some of our favorite applications focused on aesthetics, cosmetic procedures, beauty, and wellness that are a must to download and use in 2023. Enjoy!

Though beauty apps are amazing, they can’t fully take the place of a professional’s analysis and input. Jackson cautions, “ I feel with some beauty apps, things get lost in translation and people start assuming they need what everyone is recommending online, when in reality, everyone is different and everyone has different treatment plans.”

Jackson recommends that individuals go to their local MedSpa or dermatological clinic for a consult with a professional, and if possible, get a skincare analysis, like VISIA that’s offered at DermaTouch RN. A consultation like this will allow a professional to closely assess your needs and hear your concerns, so they can offer you a skin care treatment plan or regimen to meet your short- and long-term goals.
