The Juvederm family of fillers
There are many fillers in the Juvederm and Restylane families. Each treats different areas of the face. Volbella is an option to add natural-looking volume to the lips while softening the appearance of perioral lines around the mouth. It lasts for up to a year. Vollure treats moderate to severe wrinkles of the face, such as the nasolabial folds around the nose. It lasts for up to 18 months.
Juvederm Voluma is the first and only dermal filler FDA-approved to add volume to the cheeks and chin area. Voluma is an excellent filler for facial balancing and skin contouring. It lasts for up to two years in the cheek area and one year in the chin area.
Ultra Plus treats moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. It lasts for up to one year. Finally, Ultra XC lasts for up to one year. It is used to plump up the lips and treat moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles.
The Restylane family of fillers
The Restylane family of fillers includes Restylane, Kysse, Silk, Lyft, Restylane-L, Refyne, and Defyne. Restylane and Restylane-L treat moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, like nasolabial folds. Refyne and Defyne are also used to treat moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles.
Lyft treats moderate to severe folds and wrinkles. It is also used for cheek augmentation and age-related midface contour deficiencies. Silk is used to fill the lips and correct perioral wrinkles around the mouth. Kysse is used to fill the lips and correct upper perioral wrinkles. Restylane fillers last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the filler used and the area being treated.
Facial balancing with dermal fillers
We all have one side of the face that is wider than the other, and our features are somewhat asymmetrical. For some of us, the asymmetry is more noticeable than for others. Aesthetic facial balancing and sculpting is a non-surgical treatment to help create more symmetry and balance between the two sides of the face.
