Or, maybe you’re the mother of the bride or groom, and you, too, want to look your best. At DermaTouch RN, we’re here to help with our pre-wedding suggestions that we’ve outlined below. You’ll be able to show up for the big day with your head held high!

Beauty Therapy Bridal Treatment Options: More Than Four Months Out

Collagen Restoration

If you still have some time before the big day arises, consider Ultherapy to lift the chin, neck and brow area, while also smoothing the lines on the chest. Ultherapy is a way to lift without going under the knife. This FDA-approved treatment is non-invasive and supports the body in producing and regenerating collagen production through the use of ultrasound. One great thing about Ultherapy is the images that are taken before and after treatment that prove it’s working!

It’s can take two to three months for maximum results to appear, so you want to come in at least four months before the wedding day for a consultation and treatment.

Fat Reduction – CoolSculpting & Kybella

Everyone wants to feel their best by losing a few inches of fat before their big day. CoolSculpting Elite and Kybella are great options to consider.

CoolSculpting Elite

CoolSculpting Elite uses cooling technology to reduce diet- and exercise-resistant fat in nine areas of the body. The nine areas that are FDA-cleared for CoolSculpting treatments include:

  • Abdomen
  • Thighs
  • Waistline
  • Back Fat
  • Bra Fat
  • Banana Rolls (under the buttocks)
  • Arm Fat
  • Chin Fat

Once CoolSculpting freezes the fat cells in the treatment area, they are naturally eliminated from the body. Once eliminated, they are gone for good. It takes one to three months for results to show, so it’s best to schedule your CoolSculpting treatment at least four months out from your wedding date. That way, you can get your dress sized appropriately at least a month out.

Kybella

Kybella is the perfect fat reduction treatment for a double chin. It uses an enzyme that’s injected into the fat under the chin. The enzyme eventually dissolves the fat, and over time, the fat cells are naturally eliminated from the body. It typically takes a series of treatments for optimal results, so you want to schedule Kybella at least four months out from your wedding.

Cellulite Reduction – QWO

You might not be able to see that pesky cellulite under your wedding dress, but what about in that sexy bathing suit on your honeymoon? You’re not alone. More than 90% of women deal with unwanted cellulite.

Enter QWO.

QWO is the first treatment of its kind that targets and helps to improve the appearance of cellulite. It is a non-surgical treatment clinically proven to reduce severe to moderate cellulite. Most women receive a series of three treatments spaced 21 days apart for optimal results, with visible results seen within 10 weeks.

Beauty Therapy Bridal Treatment Options: Two To Four Months Out

Facials and Chemical Peels

We all want that beautiful glow, especially on our wedding day. Facials are great skin treatments to get rid of skin impurities to refine and hydrate the skin. Chemical Peels are a more intense treatment to consider, as well. The appearance of fine lines, acne, rosacea, and overall skin texture and tone can be improved with facials and chemical peels. It often takes a series of facials or peels for maximum results, which is why you want to come in at least two to four months out (four is best) to allow time between each treatment.

Laser Therapy

Laser treatments are ideal to help reduce the appearance of age spots, melasma, fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scarring. They also help to improve the overall appearance of the skin by reducing ruddiness, pore size, and dullness. Popular laser treatments include the Halo, Broadband Light (BBL), Moxi, Glacial RX, and CoolPeel.

Depending on the laser treatment, a series of treatments might be recommended. Also, with laser treatments, results can be seen relatively quickly and improve over time. For both of these reasons, it’s good to schedule your laser treatments at least two to four months out from your wedding.

Bridal Botox

Get rid of those fine lines on the forehead and crows feet around the eyes with Botox before the big day. It can take up to a week for Botox to work, and results last four to six months, depending on the patient, areas treated, and the number of units used. You want to allow enough time for touch-ups, so at least a month out is best for Botox.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers like Juvederm and Voluma can help add volume to the face and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, as well as the depth of nasolabial folds. To allow for touch-ups and to get the results you’re looking for over time, you want to have fillers injected at least two to three months out, if not more. It can take more filler than one realizes for desired results, which is also why from a budget perspective, giving yourself more time is helpful.

Diamond Glow

To freshen up your skin for a fabulous glow on your wedding day, a Diamond Glow facial will do the trick. Diamond Glow cleanses, exfoliates, and moisturizes the skin to improve its overall appearance. It’s a treatment that is safe to do as close as a month out from your wedding day. For the best results, a series of two to three treatments is ideal.
