A Juvederm treatment can take an average of 15 to 60 minutes. The length of time for your treatment will depend on your injector, the number of areas being treated, the amount of product being used, and whether or not a topical numbing agent was used prior to your treatment (which tacks on an additional 5 to 15 minutes). Juvederm fillers have a low dose of lidocaine in them to help with injection discomfort, so some choose to forgo topical numbing treatment. However, for the lips, topical numbing can help more than on other parts of the face, given the many nerves ending in the lip area. Topical numbing also helps to minimize pain at the actual injection site.

Ultra XC, Ultra Plus XC, Volbella, Voluma, and Vollure are all Juvederm fillers from the prestigious line. Each filler is used to treat a different area of the face.
